Preschool Program
At Miss Melissa's Aardvarks we have developed a preschool specific program for children 6 months to 5 years that specifically targets critical areas of learning development while fostering a lifelong appreciation for both music appreciation and movement. We offer a 35 minutes virtual class as well as monthly or bi monthly package series. Let us cater a program to your needs!
This program has grown from Miss Melissa’s over twenty years of experience in music education. Each class is jam packed with original music from over 15 albums. We combine live music, singalongs, with instruments such as shakers, bells, sticks, drums, dances and our own brand of silly to create a program that is totally unique every time.
Every song is designed to encourage play, movement, vocalization, and recognition of beats, which in turn develop both small and large motor skills, call and response skills, social engagement, rhythm and tone development.
Our philosophy is children need to be worked with not at. We focus on individualized needs of each child. Treating them as individuals deserving of respect and growing at their own pace. In this vain we are proud to offer classes that are inclusionary of differently abled children.
